The Swiderski Institute is prepping for the next project: an exhibition catalog for Chicago-based artist Amy Honchell, documenting her solo show “Personal Geographies” at Murray State University.

The work draws from the histories and structures of textiles, geography, biology, and architecture. Invisible patterns—topography, weather patterns, bodily systems— are the basis for her site-specific installations and drawings. Honchell’s work focuses on conflating the spaces we inhabit (landscape, architecture, bodies, and minds).
